It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny L. Bodnar of Perry, Ohio, who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Penny is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Sabo and Elizabeth "Bettie" Sabo (Ashton). She is survived by: her husband Frank; her children, Rebecca Jane Bodnar (Daren Whetstone), Jeffrey Andrew Bodnar (Yrral Belanger) and Gretchen Jekutis (Daniel Jr.); her grandchildren, Jaren Bodnar (Trinity), Gavin, Melina Costello and Eva Bodnar-Whetstone; and her sister Connie Sue Hamilton (Ron). She is also survived by cousins and in-laws.
