With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard James West of Perry, Ohio, born in Painesville, Ohio, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard P. West and Florence C. West (Gibbs); and his wife Linda J. West. He is survived by : his children, Todd R. West (Ame) and Dr. Julie A. West; his stepdaughters, Victoria Kenyon (Brian) and Christina Stropky; his stepgrandchildren, Jordyn and Joey; and his siblings, Donald L. West (Patricia) and Bonnie Hunt (Charles).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
