He was predeceased by : his parents, William Airwyke and Rachel Airwyke (Headley); his son James Airwyke; and his siblings, Zora Airwyke, William and Lyle Airwyke.

He is survived by : his children, Susan Airwyke and Blaine Airwyke (Susan); his sister Lona Long; and his sister-in-law Judy Airwyke. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
