Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Boyd Smith of Perrysburg, Ohio, born in Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 94, on January 10, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Smith and Bertha Smith; his stepmother Anne; his close friend Joyce Baird; his children, Morty Smith and Deana Meeks; his granddaughter Baby Smith; and his brother Rayvon Smith (Ruby).

He is survived by : his sister Raynell; his sister-in-law Ruby Smith; his sons, Rodney Smith and Rusty Smith; his stepdaughters, Pam Contos and Paula Meeks; his grandchildren, Jessika "Jesse" (Sam), Robert, Erin (Derek), Christie, Alexis (Mohammed), Winona, Wesley and Zoey; and his great grandchild Lenna Joy. He is also survived by many other great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Toledo Area Humane Society, or to the Tunnel to Towers foundation to support veterans.
