He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Blevins and Mabel Blevins (Oaks); and his siblings, William, Jerry Blevins and Sondra Braun.

He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Lewis; his children, Michelle Blevins of Toledo, Elizabeth Turner of Swanton and John Blevins (Diana Murillo) of El Paso, TX.; his grandchildren, Adrian, Aiya and Shelby Turner; and his siblings, Fran Currier, Cherrell Coutcher, Madonna Hollinger (Mark) and Bobby Blevins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Make a Wish Foundation or St. Rose Catholic Church.
