He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay R. Hartman and Harriet A. Hartman (Barlow); and his pet Goldie. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Hartman of Bowling Green and Jayla Hartman of Bowling Green; his girlfriend Dawn Scott of Perrysburg; his sisters, Tanya Brough (Art) of Genoa and Nikki Abdo (Danny) of Northwood; and his siblings' children, Ashley Brough, Adrienne Skees (Zach) and Josh Brough (Susie).
