He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester McPherson and Loretta A. McPherson (Christen); his wife Joanne K. Monroe; his brother Jim McPherson; and his sister-in-law Karen Reynolds.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff McPherson (Terri) of McClure, Jay McPherson (Katy) of Perrysburg, Jon McPherson (Kris) and Joel McPherson (Becky) of Dublin; his grandchildren, Katy Bissell (Eric), Kimberly Muir (Chase), Annie Lipstraw (Erica), Ryan McPherson, Kevin McPherson (Brittany), Kyle McPherson (Tina), Michael McPherson (Amanda), Andrew McPherson and Grace McPherson; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Josie, Lucy, Kamryn, Kinsley, Karsyn and Stella; his sister Janet Shaffer (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Jane McPherson and David Monroe.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials take the form of contributions to: Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
