He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephan Baranski and Stella Baranski (Klimczak); and his siblings, Ted, Chester, Edward, Pauline and Wanda.

He is survived by : his wife Gail; his children, Tim Baranski (Brenda), Gregg Baranski (Melanie) and Jaime Baranski (Gabriel); his stepdaughters, Sarah Avina (Eddie) and Rachel Hastings; his grandchildren, Bryon Baranski (Sonya), Jade Baranski (Amanda), Taylor Scherling (Jon), Tanner Baranski, Shelby Baranski, Logan Baranski and Carlie Baranski; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Cooper, Macie, Jackson, Addie Mae, Elliot and Atlas; his former life partner Rita Mary Baranski; his sister-in-law Jean Baranski; and also, Alex and Ariana Avina. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
