She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmanuel J. Katakis and Esther Katakis (Goucher); her husband Michael J. Scavo; her granddaughter Sierra Scavo; and her brothers, John Katakis and Jimmie Katakis.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Scavo of Perrysburg and Annette Webb; her grandchildren, Aaron, Jessa and Skye Webb; her brothers, George Katakis of Lemoyne, Othon "Corky" Katakis (Vickie) of Lemoyne and Bill Katakis of Lemoyne; and her sister-in-law Ellen Katakis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation.
