He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Meyerholtz and Anna Meyerholtz (Bunte); and his sister Marie Geisler. He is survived by: his wife Marian A. Ohm; his children, David Meyerholtz (Linda) of Perrysburg, Daniel Meyerholtz (Vicki) and Dawn Gaines (Barry) of Port Lucie, FL.; his grandchildren, Kristin Johnson (Matthew), Abbey Farish (Robert), Cari Thigpen (Jack), Beth Bajus (Jim) and Austin Gaines; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Jacob, Grayson and Harper.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contribution to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
