He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sullivan and Vera Mae Ashton (Redifer). He is survived by: his wife Harriette Campbell; his children, Dyrk Ashton, Drew Ashton, Dillon Ashton (Irina), Daphne Ashton Early and Dianna Ashton; and his grandchildren, Simon Ashton (Chelsea), Sasha Ashton (Liz), Margaret Cochrane, Donovan Cochrane, Wyatt Early and Weston Early.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to: Wood County Parks.
