We announce the death of Roger Lee Leininger Jr. of Perrysburg, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 61. Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Leininger (Susan Chase) and Sheryl Leininger (Foote); his stepfathers, Tom Neuhaus and Kenneth Peters; his brother Doug Leininger; and his grandparents, Rose Marie Chase, Arthur Chase, Oliver, Betty Leininger (Taylor), Francis and Virginia Foote (Lapoint).
He is survived by: his significant other Katey Richardson; his children, Kory Smith (Elizabeth), Katelynn Richardson and Dalton Leininger; his pet Lacie; his siblings, Bill Leininger (Wally), Trevor Leininger (Jennifer), Terry Leininger, Tammy White (Bill) and Keena Humphrey; his granddaughter Riley; and his grandmother Jean Chase. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunrise Cremations and Funerals. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
