He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Birthisel; his son Thomas Birthisel; and his parents, William Birthisel and Thelma Birthisel. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Birthisel (Sumac) and Susan Birthisel; his grandchildren, Megan Stewart (Jason), Mollie Birthisel, Faren Jimenez (Monique), John Schmalzried (Ashley) and Jessica Pfleghaar (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Raquelle Schmalzried and Josie Pfleghaar.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (200 W 2nd St, Perrysburg, OH 43551). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church, Perrysburg, Ohio.
