He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Sprang and Nellie Sprang (Hartson); his wife Shirley Ann Sprang; his brother Leroy Sprang; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Sprang and Frank Warga; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Erma Wise.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Brinkerhoff (Randy Ratliff) of Loudonville and Charles R. Sprang (Kari) of Loudonville; his grandsons, Joshua Hicks, Dustin Hicks, Cody Brinkerhoff, Dakota Shook and Corey Sprang (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Cayden, Michael, Owynn Hicks, Brynley Wright-Hicks and Remi Grace Sprang; and his sister Judy Warga of Florida.
