It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn L. Martin of Philo, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Bass and Eleanor J. Bass (Williams); her husband James A Martin; and her son James "Craig" Martin. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Sims (Darla Tovar) of Zanesville and Jodi Warner of Philo; her grandchildren, Cory Hartman (Ashley), Cody Hartman (Tiffany), Wesley Moore, Stacy Swan (Paul), Nathan Martin (Jody), Kari Crist (Andrew), Amanda Tovar and Kristoffer Tovar; her brothers, David Bass and Rick Bass; and her half-sister Linda Bentley. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
