It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Denver Thornton of Pickerington, Ohio, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fronus Thornton and Lettie Thornton; his wife Mary Thornton; and his brother Hobart Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Larry Thornton, Gregg Thornton (Patti) and Jennifer Thornton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
