He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Smitson (McCray); his children, Donald Smitson (Toni) and Pamela Melton (Bill); his grandchildren, Isaac Smitson, Kenneth Smitson (Victoria), Hazel Dobyns (Devin), Elizabeth Melton, William Melton (Asha) and Bradley Melton; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Keegan, Rowan, Lillie-Mae, Paisleigh, Winnie, Emery, Olivia, Logan, Sophia and Wesley.
