She was predeceased by: her husband Dave (Joe). She is survived by: her siblings, Ray Lemke (Ruth) and Anita Nelson of Spring Valley; her sister-in-law Pat Crabtree of Logan, Ohio; her children, Randi Thompson, Renita Messmer (Peter), Ron Crabtree (Silvia) and Robbie Crabtree (Mary); her grandchildren, Ashley Sanyal (Neil), Christopher Thompson, Adam Messmer (Rachel), Sarah Culbertson (Sean), Emily Davis (Jacob), Hannah Messmer, Luke Messmer (Bre), Jordan Messmer (Brooke), Rosie Messmer, Jon Messmer, Micah Crabtree (Nathan), Andrea Zavaleta-Vega, Daniel LePera (Amanda), Rebecca Nussbaum (Walt) and Emilee Crabtree (Vic); her great grandchildren, Maverick Sanyal, Libby Davis, Logan Davis, Reese Messmer, Emory LePera, Ayla LePera, Calvin Nussbaum, Chandler Ross and Quinn Ross; and her pet Bailey Buttons.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted, in Doris's memory, to Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, where she was loved and will be dearly missed by her many friends.
