We announce the death of Edward Calvin Martin of Pickerington, Ohio, who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 81. Edward will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Martin and Lenore Martin (Spragg); his brother Richard; and his stepgrandparent Mayford. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Stroh); his children, Deanna "Dee", Eric and Craig (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Danielle, Mattison, William, Nicholas, Alexander, Austin and Jonathan; and his half-brothers, Joe, Phil and Thadd. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, honoring Ed and supporting local diabetes care and education.
