With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kevin Lee Kunkel of Pickerington, Ohio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father William; his brother Steven Kunkel; and his father-in-law Douglas VanVorous. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Kunkel; his children, Tyler Kunkel, Danielle, Logan Kunkel and Brooks Kunkel; his mother Carol Finlay; his mother-in-law Dixie VanVorous; his siblings, Bill Jr. Finlay (Janet), David Kunkel (Lesley), Greg Kunkel (Gretchen), Cheryl Muraco (Jim) and Cindy Ousley; his siblings-in-law, Damon VanVorous (Diane) and Jan Kunkel; his half-brother Dave Kunkel; and his pet Harley. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home - Pickerington (550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147). A vigil service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (600 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147).
