She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hoffman and Janet Hoffman; her stepfather Harry Lee Carey; and her brothers, Peter D. Hoffman and John Hoffman.

She is survived by: her husband Donald C. Odell; her children, Sean Odell and Sarah Odell; her brother William Hoffman; and her niece Mary Ellen Odom.
