She was predeceased by: her children, Christopher and Valarie Ann; her sister Treva Kocher; and her parents, Robert Tussing and Eudella Tussing (Miller).
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Richards (Elizabeth) and Nathan Richards (Melissa); her grandchildren, Kristi (Joshua), Ryan, Justin, Zane and Emily; her great grandchildren, Gracie, Maci, Micaiah, Anaya, Caleb, Ezra, Ezekiel and Nash; her brother Tom Tussing (Nan) of Connecticut; and her adoptive children, Diana Rose and Jay Sharp.
At her request, Phyllis has donated her body to the Ohio University Body. Donation Program.
