He is survived by: his wife Treva Wheeler (Clark); his children, Ronnie Wheeler II (Jenny), Tiff Roberts (David), Tami Reeves (John) and Tonya Miller (Tyler); his grandchildren, Caleb, Cameryn, Caitlyn, Casey Wheeler, John Jr., Lilly Reeves, Chloe, Dixie Roberts, McKenna, Macie and McCoy Miller; his son Kevin Martin; his sister Rhonda; his brother-in-law Bob Wilson; his nephews, Jason and Justin Wilson; and his caregiver Linda Heil.
