He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward O'Brien and Janet Thomas O'Brien; and his brother Terrance. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Jason O'Brien (Ashley Pendleton) of Piketon, Tabitha Maddy (Arshall) of Highland County, Keith O'Brien (Lucy Braggs) of West Virginia and Desiree Larsen of Nebraska; and his cousins, Wendell O'Brien of Morehead, Billy McCall of Piketon and Sharma Pinkerton of North Carolina.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
