She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Wilson and Josephine Appleby Wilson; her husband Donald I VanMeter; and her siblings, Kenneth Wilson, Iva Jean Barnett, Ruth Shields, Martha June Isennagle, Emma Wilson, Scott Wilson and Elwood Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dolly Rardain (Roger) of Fairborn and Vicki VanMeter of Circleville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Angelica Friedrich (Brian), Clarissa Rardain, Rebekah Mears, David Maxson and Benjamin Mears (Daisee); and her great grandchildren, Drew Maxson and Benson Mears. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home - Waverly (314 E North St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at the Mound Cemetery.
