He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Robert Thompson and Marie Thompson (Boggs); his siblings, Naomi Brown, Rosetta Woods, Kathryn Cunningham, Bertha Campbell, Clyde, Glenn and Harry Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Graysen Baker and Alyss Baker.
He is survived by: his daughter Sonja Thompson (Jeff Friend); his grandchildren, Tosha Sawyer, Montana Pollock, Dakota Pollock, Savannah Friend and Michael Friend; his great grandchildren, Bryson and Mason Glassnap; and his siblings, Raleigh, Charles Thompson and Juanita Hackett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
