Ruth Ann Martin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Martin of Pioneer, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Bostelman and Esther M Bostelman (Rathge); her sister Janet Petarra; and her grandson Braxton Sloan. She is survived by: her husband Robert S. Martin; her children, Angela Garnes of Westerville, Shane Martin (Erica) of Pioneer, Kara Sloan (Brent) of Grabill, Misty Stivers (Ethan) of Georgetown and Jason Martin (Jenilea) of Bryan; her grandchildren, Payton, Maddy, Brant, Jadyn Garnes, Ashlynn, Thane, Carissa Martin, Riley, Brogan, Grady, Oakley Sloan, Lincoln, Addi, Emara, Rhenn Stivers, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Selah Rose, Gracelyn and Zechariah Martin; her siblings, Elaine Keinath (Bob) of Reese, Betty Burns (John) of Columbia and Eldon Bostelman (Deb) of Defiance; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley and Sharon Martin of Pioneer. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lakeview United Brethren Church (4616 E Territorial Rd, Camden, MI 49232). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Christian Campus House at Trine University or Lakeview United Brethren Church or Lake James Christian Camp and Retreat Center in Angola.
