As we bid Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Purk and Nora Ellen Purk (Covault); and his wives, Wanda Mae Purk (Bolton), Darlene Purk (Hall) and Marilyn Purk (Spitale).
He is survived by: his girlfriend Annie Thorpe; and his nephews, Ed Purk and Terry Bryan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home (333 High St, Piqua, OH 45356). The military honors will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
