With solemn reverence, we commemorate Donald C. Gordon of Piqua, Ohio, whose life came to an end on June 13, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Mary Jones; his siblings, Madelyn, Mary Haffner (Bob), Helen Rita Neiling (Ves), Catherine Gerschutz (Francis), Clara Pittlekow (Don), Bob (Leoma), Walter (Ramona), Henrietta and Loretta; and his sons-in-law, Mike Householder and Glenn Gault.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Grilliot (Joe), Judy Householder, Diann Brower (Rod), Jane Farley (Jim), MaryAnn Kelmer (Rich), Joe Gordon (Janice) and Mike Gordon; his sisters-in-law, Dolores Jones and Mary Jones; and his pet Cooper. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home (646 High St, Piqua, OH 45356). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (310 S Downing St, Piqua, OH 45356). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (8660 OH-66, Piqua, OH 45356).
