With sadness, we share the passing of Eldon Eugene Shepard of Piqua, Ohio. Eldon, born on April 24, 1941, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Eldon for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shepard and Viola Cotterman (Netzley); his sisters, Margaret Black and Eileen McCoy; his stepdaughter Shannon Meiring; his grandson Dustin Shepard; and his former wife Viola Pearl Shepard.
He is survived by: his wife Debby; his daughters, Lynda Higgins (Thomas), Jody Spriggs (Tim), Kirt Shepard and Donna Shepard-Jackson (Carl); and his stepson Eric Meiring. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
