He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Grissom and Adelaide Grissom (Dodsworth); and his siblings, Robert Grissom, William Grissom, Donald Grissom, Dorothy Morrissette and Cathy Stewart.

He is survived by: his children, Craig Grissom (Joy Almcrantz) of Piqua, Mike Grissom (Shawnda Frazier) of Piqua and Vicki Selover (Kevin) of Troy; his grandchildren, Zachary Grissom, Jeremy Grissom (Katie), Jessica Roberts (Casey), Jacob Grissom (Tia), Jennifer Curtis (Nick), Chris Grissom (Cristy), Evan Grissom, Brandon Grissom, Katie King (Brian), Kyle Selover (Whitney), Nichole Yearsley and Brianna Spencer (Will); his great grandchildren, Layne, Bradley, Porter, Taegan, Hallie, Caden, Anson, Hudson, Brogan, Colton, Hannah, Waylon, Maverick, Eadie, Kora, Mila, Boone, Carly, Evelyn, Violet, Darnell and Aviee; and his siblings, Scott Grissom (Carol) of Covington, Judy Adams of Piqua, Sherry Black of Piqua and Lora Grissom (Larry Schmidlapp) of Piqua. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
