James Koon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Koon of Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2026 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Koon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion J. Koon and Mary Koon (Mellinger). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Koon (Hoban); his children, Jon Koon (Sandie) of Potomac Falls, Melissa Koon of Columbus and Susan Chieffo (Steve) of Columbus, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Alexis Koon, Connor Koon (Alexandra), Evy Koon, Caroline Koon, Sophia Chieffo and Jimmy Chieffo.
