He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor J. Sr. Gerlach and Betty M Gerlach (Borges); and his siblings, Michael Gerlach, Victor J. Gerlach Jr. and Joyce Covault.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Calvert of Piqua, OH, James "Jim" Gerlach (Tammy) of Piqua, OH and Kelly Jo Rhoades (Barry) of Piqua, OH; his sister Vicky Kearns of Sidney, OH; his grandchildren, Cory, Ash, Jon, Berklee, Cassidy, Levi and Audrey; and his great grandchild Gabriel.
