He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hamilton and Betty Nicodemus (Mattix); his wife Mary P. Hamilton (Eberwein); his stepfather Charles Nicodemus; and his brother Martin Joseph Nicodemus.
He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Stahl of Piqua; his grandchildren, Taylor Hamilton, Brody Stahl and Brady Hamilton Stahl; his sons, Terry Joe Hamilton (Kathy) of Florida and Jon Joshua Hamilton (Jeannie) of Florida; and his siblings, Natalee Allman of Florida, Stephanie McGuire (Dewayne) of North Carolina, Valerie Hinkle of Piqua and Chip Nicodemus of Sidney. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Miami County Veterans.
