She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Thiel and Geraldine Rose Thiel (Fechhelm); her husband Calvin Carlton "Buz" Garton; and her half-sister Mary Ann Maki. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Gerald "Jerry" Garton of Piqua and Rose Schmidt (Michael) of Piqua; her grandchildren, Jessica Stover (Eli) and Michael Jennings; and her great grandchildren, Milee, Maranatha, Gracie, Faith, Kyle, Haleigh and Olivia.
