He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Leroy and Virginia Irene Carey (Sharpe); and his son Aaron Brent Carey. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Capps (Melissa) and John Martin (Jennifer); his brother Tom Carey (Helen); and his niece Marsha Hegdahl (Brian). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.
