He was predeceased by: his parents, V. Ross Sloan and Inez Sloan (Springer); and his brother Vernon R. Sloan, II. He is survived by: his children, Todd Sloan (Delane) of West Milton and Susan Hanley (John) of Melbourne, Florida; his grandchildren, Travis Sloan (Claire) and Emily Wolfe (Holden); and his siblings, Dale Sloan (Mary) of St. Paris, Wilma Lewis of St. Paris and Peggy Laughman (Ed) of Urbana.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home (333 High St, Piqua, OH 45356). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
