Lucinda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lucinda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Smith and Helen M. Smith (Stover); her husband James A. Cole; her son James W. "Jimmy" Cole; and her brother William Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Melissa Beal (John) of Conover, Mindi Cole of Conover and Jennifer DeLong of Cape Coral, Florida; and her sister-in-law Miriam Smith of Colorado. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
