She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Firestone and Kathryn Merritt (Nonnamaker); her husband John W. Mader; her brother William Firestone; her stepfather Raymond Merritt; and her sons-in-law, Rick Christy and John Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Mader of Troy, Deb Christy of Snellville and Diana Perkins (Mark Fussnecker) of Kettering; her grandchildren, Ryan Christy (Brianne Larkin), Brad Perkins (Ashley), Sean Christy (Breanna), Matt Perkins (Brittany Heulskamp), Cory Perkins (Becky), Casey Perkins, Aaron Perkins and Erica Cummings (Brent); and her brother Max Merritt (Cindy) of South Carolina. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home (333 High St, Piqua, OH 45356). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
