He is survived by: his children, Danielle Howard (Dean) of Sidney, OH, Angie Woodward (Christopher) of Sidney, OH, Michael Young of Piqua, OH, Bobby Young (Stephanie) of Russia, OH and Neil Young of Piqua, OH; his siblings, Simon Young (Scheally) of Celina, OH, Rick Young of Piqua, OH, Danny Young of Troy, OH, Florence Powell (Mike) of Piqua, OH and Suzie Young of Piqua, OH; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Katelyn, Caleb, Brooke, Kaylee, Wyatt, Whitney, Lane and Annie. He is also survived by nine great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home (646 High St, Piqua, OH 45356). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
