He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Yount and Bessie Yount; his wife Edythe L. Stahl; and his sisters, Juanita A. Brumbaugh, Norma J. Reed and Louella E. Scherer.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Thompson (Lee), Lucinda Penrod (Dennis) and Douglas Yount (Beverly); his grandchildren, Chad Ryan, Brad Ryan (Megan), Rob Chapman (Jodi), Megan Stillwell (Jordan Gerardi), Macy Brown (Thomas) and Holden Yount; his great grandchildren, Nora Richards, Ashlee Ryan, Brinn Ryan, Brooks Ryan, Jilian Chapman (Devan Wuebker), Izabella Chapman, Chance Chapman, Grady Stillwell, Knox Stillwell, Piper Stillwell, Bailey Brown and Nolan Brown; and his great great grandchild Beckett Wuebker.
