She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin B. Barhorst and Josephine M. Barhorst Sr. (Hoover); her husband Richard C. "Dick" Beard; her son Richard C. Beard II; and her siblings, Ed, Frank (Betty), Michael Barhorst, Marilyn Bashore and Pat Stang (Ed).
She is survived by: her children, Richelle "Shelly" Beard of Piqua, Danielle Mohrman (Michael) of Houston and Bruce Beard (Tonya) of Plain City; her grandchildren, Richie Beard (Maggie), Tyler Beard (Jennifer), Nicholas Beard, Taylor Beard, Zachary Beard and Sydney Beard; her siblings, Ted Barhorst of Piqua, Joe Barhorst (Sherri) of Piqua, Bill Barhorst (Mamie) of Piqua, Dan Barhorst (Pam) of Piqua, Mary Lou Yinger (Floyd) of Sidney, Rosie Luthman (Bill) of Minster, Chris Gerlach (John) of Piqua, Jeanie Leonard of Piqua and Kathy Braun (Luke) of Jackson Center; and her sister-in-law Ruth Barhorst of Piqua. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
