It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Price of Piqua, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Price and Agnes "Irene" Price (Journell). He is survived by: his wife Christine Price (Jacomet); his daughters, Chelsi Stover (Trevor), Lindsey Stover (Bubba) and Britney Ratermann (Brad); his grandchildren, Cade, Gabby, Halle, Reece, Garrett, Olivia, Tatum, Clint, Addie, Grant and Hank; and his siblings, Linda LaFever, Greg Price (Linda), Rachel Kreitz (Ludwig), Faith Gugenheim (Gregg) and Lisa O'Dowd (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, Inc., P.O. Box 502, Troy OH 45373, or to the Steve Price Scholarship intended for Track & Field and Cross Country runners, in care of Sara Schlegel, 805 Gallant Fox Lane, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.

“Steve. He was an iron man, who conquered disease to live a full life. He was a reflective man, who "thunk deep thoughts" even when partying. He was a teacher to a multitude of students in a multitude of ways. He was a great musician and, in the words of the immortal Bill Monroe, "A fine Yankee picker and a wunnerful singer." He was naughty in ways that everyone knows but will politely forget. He is my friend . I love him and will never forget him. My love to Chris and family.”
