It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Zimmerman (Plain City, Ohio), who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernice Zimmerman and Leo Zimmerman; his parents-in-law, Kennard and Mary Forrest; his brother Donald L.; his brother-in-law Kenneth Leroy Smith; his nephew Brian A. Zimmerman; and his grandson Derek Abel.

He is survived by : his wife Diane L. Zimmerman; his children, Kenneth Michael Chapin Jr. (Sherry) and Erin Nelson (Richard Owens); his grandchildren, Gideon (Amara Ruckdaschel), Paul Chapin and Isabella Rivera; his sister-in-law Carol Beck (Gary); his nieces, Ami Stivers (Stuart) and Fawn Dumke (Justin); and his nephew Lee Zimmerman (Uyen Do). He is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BIG Darby Baptist Church (6921 NE Plain City-Georgesville Rd, Plain City, OH 43064). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
