With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra R. Copen of Plain City, Ohio, who passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Mitcham Sr. and Ruth Humphrey; her son Craig Copen; her brother David Mitcham; and her stepfather Jerry Humphrey.
She is survived by: her husband David Copen; her daughters, Danielle Augustine and Angela Miller (Brian); her grandchildren, Emily Lemon, Cole Miller, Parker Copen-Wilkins and Walker Miller; and her siblings, Donald Mitcham Jr. (Karen), Diana Cline (Steve), Danny Mitcham (Susan), Yorkie and Lily. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in her name to the Ohio Hospice or Epiphany Lutheran Church.
