She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin McDowell and Helen McDowell (Smith); her husband Thomas Francis; her son Steven Francis; her siblings, Marion Thomas, Carol Ann McDowell, Thomas McDowell, Jimmy LeMaster, Marvin LeMaster and Dennis LeMaster; and her son-in-law David Travis.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Francis (Emma) of Plain City, Dennis Francis (Marilyn) of Raymond, Don Francis (Rhonda) of Plain City, John Francis (Sharon) of North Lewisburg, Lisa Travis of Plain City and Thomas Francis (Monique) of Delaware; and her brother Richard McDowell (Alice). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
