He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrius and Lettie (Boomhower); and his grandparents, Panko and Anna Kowal. He is survived by: his wife Patt (Ebaugh); his children, Joe, Lori Scopelite (Kowal), Scott and Debbie Kowal (Carney); his grandchildren, Megan Kowal, Eric and Lindsey Farmwald (Kowal); and his sister Gloria Luczka. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Journey Community Church (11100 Lafayette Plain City Rd, Plain City, OH 43064). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
