Roger Douglas Stoppa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Douglas Stoppa of Plain City, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roger touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Stoppa (Jorgensen) and Raymond Stoppa. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Stoppa of Plain City; his son Alexander Stoppa of Okinawa, Japan; and his siblings, Ken Stoppa (Elizabeth) of Chicago and Sandy Sardo (Mike) of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, who since 9/11, we have been helping America's heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
