He is survived by: his son Trevor Austin Hughes-Smith of Powell, Ohio; his former wife Amber Yoder Smith (Brian); his mother Cornelia Hostetler (Kurtz); his stepfather William "Bill" Hostetler; his sister Angela Sanguino (Hughes); his stepsister Pam Vitali (Leo); his aunts, Judy Harbage, Berna Kurtz Delong and Betty Hughes; his niece Victoria Sanguino; and his cousins, Danny Hughes (Carolyn), Steven Hughes (Ann Margarget), Jerry Hughes, Rob Kurtz (Gail), Tony Kurtz (Erin), Sonja Nunamaker (Todd), Stacy Bernas (Steve) and Paul Harbage (Emme).
