He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Woodring; his children, Lori Kaylor (Ray) of Forest, Virginia, Joe Fillman (Laura) of New Albany, Darren Fillman (Jennifer) of Raleigh and Stephen "Chip" Fillman Jr. (Nichole) of Marysville, Ohio; his stepdaughters, Sarah Coffey of Strasburg, Julie Lawrence (Jared) of New Philadelphia and Crystal Qualls (Robert) of Mount Vernon, Ohio; his grandchildren, Chase (Morgan), Mitchel (Bri), Casey Kaylor (Jillian), Kelsey Ferguson (Caleb), Danielle Cassidy (Zachary), Kate Rhinehart (Chris), Peyton, Reese, Benjamin Fillman, Cassandra, Rachel Fillman, Gavin, Logan and Reagan Fillman; his stepgrandchildren, Hunter Grasselli (Santi), Zachary Coffey, Wyatt, Whitney, Waden Lawrence and Mason Qualls; his sister Deloris McVey (Chester); his brothers-in-law, D. Michael Wilson (Cheryl) and Jerry Tester (Nan); and his pet Pickles. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren.
